The QBR skill builds a quarterly business review for one Organization from your Syncro Tickets, Invoices, and Assets. It produces a client report for the meeting and a separate internal prep sheet for you.

Prerequisites

  • The skill requires the Syncro MCP connector. If the connector is not connected, the skill says so and stops.
  • To install the plugin that includes this skill, see Syncro Claude Plugins.

Run the QBR Skill

To run the QBR skill, follow these steps:

  1. Ask Claude for a QBR for an Organization, for example: QBR for Northwind. If the name matches more than one Organization, the skill lists them and asks which one.
  2. Answer the two questions the skill asks before it reads any data: how far back to look (3, 6, or 12 months, or a specific date range), and whether the Organization has concerns to focus on or topics to leave out. If you do not specify a period, the skill uses the last full quarter and states that in the method line. If the ticket history or fleet is large, the skill tells you the size and confirms before it reads the rest.
  3. Save the console to disk. The skill shows the console as a card titled with the Organization name and “QBR review console”. Open the card, use the download control in the lower right of the console window, then open the saved copy and work from it:
  4. In the Setup panel, select a Theme (Slate, Ink, Navy, Forest, or Custom) and a Report Theme (Light, Dark, or Adaptive). Under “Your Logo,” enter your company name. To add your logo, click Choose File and select an image, or enter a URL. Under Client Logo, enter the client name and add the client logo the same way. If you do not add a logo, the name appears as a wordmark:

Note: A URL needs an internet connection and does not render in a preview.
  5. Choose what the client sees. Every item is checked to the skill’s recommendation, with a reason in italics under anything it recommends excluding. To exclude a row, clear the row's checkbox. Click Include All or Clear All to change every checkbox at once. To reword text, click a dashed text box, such as a recommendation, and edit it. The bar above the summary tiles shows how many items are included:
  6. Click Generate Client Report. The skill builds the report from the client-eligible data only and opens a preview of it.
  7. In the preview, click Download .html to save the report as a file, Print/PDF to print it or save it as a PDF, or Copy Report HTML to copy the report source:

Click Back to return to the console.

The client report opens with a summary and covers where the Organization stands today (fleet by device class, items that need attention, and coverage), what you handled compared with the prior period, and recommendations, each with a decide-by date. Open invoices appear only for rows with checked boxes.

The internal prep sheet lists items to raise, such as SLA breaches, aged receivables, gaps in recurring billing, and monitoring blind spots. Each item is marked CONSIDER RAISING with a suggested framing. These items stay out of the client report unless you move them in. The sheet also lists account numbers, completeness accounting, and what the data cannot tell you.

IMPORTANT: Do not use a Publish or share control on the console. The console contains the internal prep sheet, and publishing it discloses that content. Inside a preview pane, Download .html and Print/PDF buttons can be blocked. Use Copy Report HTML, paste it into a text editor, and save it as an .html file.

The skill does not read installed software, script execution history, ticket-level labor detail, or contract terms. It reports patch status only for Organizations that populate update fields. When a section has no supporting data, the skill drops it and lists it under what is not covered. In chat surfaces where HTML cannot render, the skill provides a markdown version.

One platform for IT teams to strengthen security, streamline operations, and scale support.
