Syncro's Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector already gives Claude access to your Syncro data, including Tickets, Invoices, Customer Organizations, Assets, and Alerts. The Syncro Claude Plugin turns that access into guided, consistent Syncro work by packaging Syncro's own knowledge and conventions directly into Claude.

Without the plugin, you have to re-explain how you want Claude to handle Syncro data every session, and results depend on who's asking. With it, that guidance is built in, so you get the same reliable results every time. The plugin bundles built-in Syncro knowledge and conventions and reusable skills that guide Claude through common jobs.

The plugin works across Claude Chat, Cowork, and Code.

Prerequisites

Before installing the Syncro Claude Plugin:

  • Connect the Syncro MCP server. A plugin can bundle more than one connector, and each skill only works once the connector it depends on is authenticated. The Syncro Claude Plugin's current skills both require an authenticated Syncro MCP connection, so installing the plugin alone will not make them functional.
  • Download the Syncro-Claude-Plugin.zip file.

Install the Plugin

Use this procedure to install the Syncro Claude Plugin in Claude Chat, Cowork, or Code (app).

  1. Click the + (plus) symbol.
  2. Select Manage Plugins.
  3. Click Add, then Upload Plugin.
  4. Click Browse Files, locate the plugin ZIP file, and select it.
  5. Click Upload. The plugin is now installed.

Name Command Description
Convert a Call to a Ticket /call-to-ticket A technician relays what a client just told them by phone, text, or in person. This skill turns that account into a complete, correctly structured Syncro ticket, with a consistent subject line, a private note that always covers who to contact, what the client already tried, a specific next step, and urgency context, priority inferred from the actual signals in the request, and any lookup ambiguity flagged instead of guessed. Creates one ticket per run.
Documentation Center Search /doc-search When you ask how a Syncro feature works, this skill finds the correct, current Doc Center article and answers from its actual content. It flags if a feature is limited to certain plans, if the info might be outdated, or if the docs simply don't cover it yet, rather than guessing or citing an unrelated article.
Prep for Onsite Visits /onsite-visits Reviews all open tickets for a customer, including tickets owned by other technicians, before a site visit. Sorts what's still outstanding into work that cannot be done remotely and work where being there materially changes the outcome, each with the physical reason it needs hands. Read only: this skill never edits a ticket or contacts a customer.
Ticket Research Assistant /ticket-researcher Given a ticket number, this skill first asks whether the issue is a known recurring problem and whether to show web search queries before sending them. It then reviews the ticket's history, the attached asset's specs (OS, model, firmware, installed software), and, when recurrence is confirmed, the customer's past tickets for the same symptom, alongside vendor documentation and community reports, confirming or ruling out findings against the actual asset. Returns a ranked list of things to try with its evidence in a separate log. Read only by default; on request, saves either as a private, AI labeled internal note. Never customer visible.
