Syncro Mobile: Settings
Table of Contents
This document describes the configuration settings available for Syncro Mobile, which are all available for the app on both iOS and Android devices that support the latest app version.
If you haven't already, download the Syncro Mobile app. Be sure to install the one that looks like this:

To change your settings, tap the gear icon in the upper right. Then adjust any of the following.
Biometric Login
Biometric login lets you sign in to Syncro Mobile using Face ID (iOS) or Android biometrics. It acts as a full, credential-backed sign-in method, not a screen lock layered on top of an existing session. Once enabled, opening the app drops you straight into your ticket queue without a password, subdomain, or MFA prompt.
Your session persists across network changes. Moving from office Wi-Fi to cellular, or any other network transition, does not log you out or require you to sign in again.
To set up biometric login, follow these steps:
- Sign in to Syncro Mobile using your password or your organization's SSO provider.
- Tap the gear icon in the upper right to open Settings.
- Tap Application Lock.
- Use the toggle to enable biometric login. Your device prompts you to authenticate using Face ID or your Android biometric method to confirm.
Notes:
- Biometric login is tied to the authenticated session from your initial sign-in. If you sign out of Syncro Mobile, you will need to sign in again with your password or SSO before biometric login can be re-enabled.
- If you use SSO, you sign in once through your identity provider. Syncro Mobile matches the same identity providers the web app already supports, so no separate mobile configuration is required.
Cache
Tap Cache to display the currently used size of your cache. Tap to clear it.
Your cache stores temporary data to help the app run faster. If you're experiencing unexpected issues, seeing outdated data, or the app isn't performing as expected, clearing the cache can often help. This removes temporary files and forces the app to download the latest information.
Note: Clearing cache won’t delete your login details or personal settings.
Appearance
Syncro Mobile's appearance options help reduce eye strain and improve visibility for Technicians working in various lighting conditions, enhancing productivity and comfort. It's an optional setting that offers benefits like reduced blue light exposure and better battery life on OLED screens.
Tap Appearance to select between light/dark mode. Alternatively, toggle to use device settings:
