The Notification Center is the dedicated area in Syncro Mobile where Technicians can view, manage, and act on notifications they have received.

Overview

The Notification Center gives you a single place to track all notifications on your mobile device. Rather than missing updates buried elsewhere in the app, you can open the Notification Center at any time to see what needs your attention, navigate directly to the related record, and manage your read and unread state.

What You'll See

Notification List

The Notification List displays your notifications in order, with each entry showing a title, a brief description, and a timestamp. Unread notifications appear at full opacity; read notifications appear greyed out.

By default, the list shows unread notifications only. Use the "View All" filter to display both read and unread notifications.

Home Screen Badge

The home screen displays a badge counter on the notifications icon showing the total number of unread notifications. The counter updates automatically as you read or mark notifications.

Conditional Behavior

If you have no unread notifications, the Notification List is empty when opened with the default filter applied. Tap "View All" to confirm whether read notifications exist.

Notes

  • Tapping a notification navigates you to the related Ticket, Alert, or record and automatically marks that notification as read.
  • Swiping left on a read notification marks it as unread again.

View and Act on Notifications

To open the Notification Center, tap the notifications icon in the navigation bar on the Syncro Mobile home screen. The Notification Center opens and displays your unread notifications.

Tap the notification you want to act on. Syncro Mobile navigates you to the related Ticket, Alert, or record. The notification is automatically marked as read.

To display both read and unread notifications, tap "View All". The Notification List refreshes to show all notifications, including those already read. Read notifications appear greyed out.

Manage Read Status

To mark a single read notification as unread, swipe left on it. The notification returns to unread status.

To mark all notifications as read at once, tap Mark All as Read. All notifications are marked as read and the home screen badge counter clears.
