Connect the Syncro MCP Server
Table of Contents
The Syncro connector is in EA (Early Access) and not yet listed in the Claude Connectors Directory. Until it is, you add it manually as a custom connector using the steps in this article. Once it is listed, connecting will be a one-click action and this manual setup will no longer be needed.
This topic explains what the Syncro MCP server is and how to connect it to Claude.
Overview
Connecting the Syncro MCP server gives Claude direct access to your Syncro data, including tickets, customers, assets, and invoices, so you can work in Syncro through Claude without opening the UI.
How you connect depends on your Claude plan. If you have a Team or Enterprise plan, your Claude Owner or Primary Owner enables the connector once for the organization, and each user then authenticates individually. If you have an individual Pro plan, you add and authenticate the connector yourself, with no admin involved.
Note: These steps work in both claude.ai and the Claude Desktop app. In either one, connector settings are under Settings > Customize > Connectors.
Prerequisites
You need a Syncro account. If you don't have one, start a free trial.
Team or Enterprise
Admins should use this procedure to enable the Syncro connector for their organization. A Claude Owner or Primary Owner does this once. After that, each user authenticates individually.
Enable the Connector (Admin)
- Go to Settings > Connectors (Organization settings).
- Add the Syncro connector as a custom connector:
- Name: Syncro
- URL: https://mcp.services.syncromsp.com/mcp/stream
- Expand Advanced Settings. and enter Client ID: syncro-mcp-claude
- Save. The connector becomes available to everyone in the organization. Each user still needs to authenticate individually.
Each User Authenticates
After an admin has enabled it, every user does this once:
- Open Settings > Customize > Connectors.
- Find Syncro in the list and click Connect. A browser window opens to authorize you.
- Click Authorize.
Pro/Individual
On a Pro plan, you add and authenticate the connector yourself.
- Open Settings > Customize > Connectors.
- Click +Add, then choose “Custom” then “Web:”

The Add Custom Connector window opens:
- Enter:
- Name: Syncro
- URL: https://mcp.services.syncromsp.com/mcp/stream
- Click the caret to expand Advanced Settings.
- In the Client ID field, enter syncro-mcp-claude, then click Add.
- On the screen that appears, click Connect. A browser window opens to authorize you.
- Click Authorize.
After You Finish
Successful Connections
- Syncro appears in your connector list with the Syncro logo, and Syncro tools are now available in Claude.
- To verify end-to-end, ask Claude to list your Syncro users. If it returns them, you're connected.
Failed Connections
- If the connector isn't available to add or connect, your admin hasn't enabled it yet. See Team/Enterprise.
- If tools don't appear after connecting, reconnect, then restart Claude.
- For more troubleshooting help, see Troubleshoot MCP Connections.
